The Home secretary has said that the Maoists are getting arms from China, as it is a big supplier of small weapons. Mr. G K Pillai told reporters on the side lines of a function in New Delhi that the government has no information that the Maoists have any links with China except getting arms . Earlier the Home Minister Mr.P Chidambaram had said that the Maoists are acquiring weapons through Bangladesh, Myanmar and possibly Nepal. Mr. Pillai said that David Headley, arrested by FBI in connection with an LeT terror plot, had visited India a number of times, including Mumbai.
