In Odisha, Maoists holding ruling BJD MLA, Jhina Hikaka as hostage have changed their stand. The Andhra Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee of CPI (Maoists) has withdrawan the name of dreaded Maoist Cheda Bhusanamalias Ghasi from the list of prisoners to be release in exchange. The Maoists have also extended the deadline of fulfillment of their demands till Wednesday. They are seeking release of 29 prisoners and state government has decided to facilitate bail for 25 prisoners.
