In Bihar, suspense continues over the fate of the three policemen abducted by Maoists a week ago. The Maoists claimed that they have released the hostages but there is no official confirmation to release three policemen – Rupesh Kumar Sinha, Mohammad Ehsaan and Abhay Yadav. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that he has no information about release of captive policemen.Earlier Avinash, a self-proclaimed spokesman for the Maoists, claimed last night that the central committee of the ultra-left wing group has decided to let off the three policemen held captives by them. Avinash reportedly told some local media persons in Jamui that the committee has decided to release the hostages unconditionally on humanitarian considerations.The Maoists' spokesman said that the hostages will not be handed over either to police or media persons and they will be sent to their respective families safe and sound.The Spokesman said the Maoists Central Committee, which met in jungles near Jamui last night, has however rejected the talks offer made by the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The Chief Minister had yesterday appealed the Maoists to come forward for talks and offered safe passage to them for the purpose.All political parties of Bihar also appealed to the Maoists to release three captive policemen. The decision to make an appeal was made at an all party meeting held in Patna yesterday. Earlier, Maoists killed one of the hostages, Lucas Tele, a Havildar of Bihar Military Police. AIR Patna correspondent reports that search operation is continuing to find out captive policemen in forest area of Lakhisarai, Munger and Jamui districts of the State.AIR correspondent reports, there has been anxious moments for the families of the abducted policemen. They had been waiting the entire day for coming back of their kinsman who are under the custody of Maoists. The entire administration of the state government was worried over release of the securitymen. Meanwhile jawans of paramilary forces were looking for hostage securitymen in fores areas of Lakhisarai,Munger, Jamui and Munger districts of the state. A strict vigil is being kept on movements of Maoists near border areas of Bihar and Jharkhand.
