In Jharkhand, the Maoists blew up railway tracks on two different places in Giridih district in the wee hours today, the third and last day of three days bandh call given by the banned ultra outfit, CPI(Maoist -Leninist )in protest against the Operation Green Hunt, to be launched by the Centre.<br/>In one incident, the Maoists blasted around three meter stretch of rail track near Parasnath under Nimiaghat police station in the district disrupting train services on Dhanbad-Gaya rail section under South- Eastern Railway. In another incident, the Maoists triggered blasts on tracks between Karmatand and Chaudhary Bandh railway stations in the same district. In Khunti district of the state , the ultras also blew up a Project High School building in Sodeh village under Rania police station.The Superintendent of police, A B Minz said t the ultras had packed the building with explosives before blowing it up. No casualty has been reported in this incident. The three day bandh by the Maoists concluded today.
