In Jharkhand, suspected naxals blew up railway tracks at Poisaita in Chakradharpur rail division early today. Train services on Howrah-Mumbai route were affected due to the blast Poisaita in Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway. Several long distance trains, including Howrah-Bilaspur-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, were detained at several stations due to the rail track damage.Meanwhile, the 24-hour Maoist-sponsored bandh evoked mixed response in Jharkhand with its impact restricted to some rural pockets, besides affecting mainly the long distance vehiclular traffic across the state. The bandh is peaceful so far. The bandh was called to protest arrest of PCPA leader Chhatradhar Mahato from Birkar village under Lalgarh police station area in West Bengal.
