In Jharkhand, Maoists blew up a stretch of railway track near Karmavad railway station in Giridih district in the wee hours today. Divisional Railway Manager of Dhanbad said that the blast which occurred around 2 am destroyed a metre-long track including wheels of a goods train. He said several trains have been stopped at various points following the damage to the track. Train services on Delhi-Howrah route has been affected.
