In Odisha, Maoists blew up a Panchayat office building in Malkangiri district early today morning. About 30 rebels used landmines to blow up the building at Niliguda under Padia block of Malkangiri district. According to Superintendent of Police of Malkangiri, Anirudha Singh, nobody was inside the office building when the blast occurred. Malkangiri district of Odisha is considered a Maoist stronghold.
