In Jharkhand, the Maoists blew up railway tracks on two different places in Giridih district in the wee hours today, the third and last day of three days bandh call given by the banned ultra outfit, CPI (Maoist -Leninist) in protest against the Operation Green Hunt, to be launched by the Centre.<br/><br/>In one incident, the Maoists blasted around three meter stretch of rail track near Parasnath under Nimiaghat police station in the district disrupting train services on Dhanbad-Gaya rail section under South- Eastern Railway. In another incident, the Maoists triggered blasts on tracks between Karmatand and Chaudhary Bandh railway stations in the same district. In Khunti district of the state, the ultras also blew up a Project High School building in Sodeh village under Rania police station.<br/><br/>The Superintendent of police, A B Minz said t the ultras had packed the building with explosives before blowing it up. No casualty has been reported in this incident. The three day bandh by the Maoists concluded today.<br/><br/>In Bihar rail traffic on Patna- Howrah section has been restored. Movement of trains on this section was paralysed following blowing up of railway track in between Narganjo and Ghorparan stations in Jamui district of the state in wee hours on Tuesday.<br/><br/>Maoists torched rail cabin and blew up passenger shed of Narganjo station. Maoists also thrashed railway employees and the Cabinman of the station was made hostage for two hours.<br/><br/>Railways have intensified patrolling along railway track to avert further untoward incidents. A massive combing operation is on to nab the Maoists.<br/><br/>In Orissa, there has been no reports of any violence on the last day of the 3-day bandh call given by Maoists. Life continues to be normal with security forces keeping a vigil eye in the Maoist-affected districts of the state.<br/><br/>After landmine explosion near Bhalulata Railway Station in Sundergarh district on the first day and some minor incidents on the second day of the bandh call, there has been no reports of violence on Tuesday from any parts of Orissa.<br/><br/>However, as a part of security measure, the State Government has stopped plying of state-run Orissa State Road Transport Corporation buses.<br/><br/>Security personnel in red-ultra menace districts like Malkangiri, Sundergarh, Gajapati, Koraput, Rayagada have been kept on high alert to avoid any untoward incidents.<br/>
