Security forces are keeping a strict vigil in six states where Maoists have called for a bandh to protest Operation Green Hunt.<br/><br/>These states are Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, West Bengal, Chhatisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and three districts of Maharashtra <br/><br/>In Bihar rail traffic on Gaya- Mughalsarai rail section of East – Central Railway which was blown by the Maoists has been partially restored. Down rail track of this section has been repaired Efforts are also on to restore rail traffic on UP line. Passengers of Rajdhani and Express trains have been sent to their destination by a special train from cite of accident. <br/><br/> Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced a special award for the crew of<br/>Delhi-bound Bhubaneswar Rajdhani express for saving the lives of passengers after a Maoist-triggered blast derailed the train near Gaya last night.<br/><br/>In Chattisgarh, police along with the para-military forces are taking rounds especially in the inter-state border areas to prevent any untoward incident. The train services between Bailadila and Visakhapatnam have been put on hold as a security measure. <br/><br/>In Orissa, Maoists gunned down two persons including a special police officer at Maribeda in Malkangiri district this afternoon.<br/><br/>In Jharkhand, Naxalite blew up railway track in two places in important CIC (Coal Indian Coal) section between Barkana-Barwadih railway section under Dhanbad railway division. The railway track between Chhitadhar and Hehegarha was blown up this morning by triggering a bomb. There is no report of any casualty. Train services on this line have been disrupted.
