<br/>Normal life has been affected in some pockets of West Midnapore, Bankura and Purulia districts of West Bengal, in view of 48 hours bandh called by the Maoist backed peoples committee against police atrocities. <br/> <br/>The bandh has been called demanding immediate withdrawal of joint forces from Jungle Mahal, which have been deployed to curb maoist activities. <br/> <br/>AIR Kolkata correspondent reports that normal life has come to a halt in Jungle Mahal in West Midnapore district while impact of bandh in maoist infested Bandwan in Purulia and Khatra in Bankura district are maximum. The bandh has remained peaceful so far. <br/>
