In Bihar, at least three Government Railway Police, GRP, Jawans were killed and one injured in a naxalite attack on the Sahebganj -Danapur Intercity Express train this evening.

According to Jamalpur Rail SP Amitabh Das the Intercity Express was attacked by over two dozen naxals between Jamalpur and Ratanpur in Munger district. According to railway sources Maoist snatched arms from GRP Jawans after the gun battle. Further details are awaited.
