In Bihar heavily armed Maoists attacked Tandwa police station in Aurangabad district of the state on Monday night, triggering a fierce gunbattle before the security forces forced them to retreat. The gunbattle lasted for about a one hour. A portion of the police station was damaged during Maoist attack. However there was no report of casualties from either side. AIR Patna correspondent reports that a massive manhunt has been launched to nab the Maoists.
