Seven policemen killed today in a landmine blast triggered by Naxals in Gadchiroili district of Maharashtra. Seven policemen killed today in a landmine blast triggered by Naxals in Gadchiroili district of Maharashtra. The policemen travelling in a vehicle were hit by a landmine near Pavimuranda village in Gadchiroli around 9.30 am.

The cops belonged to Gadchiroli commando unit C-60 and were returning from a patrolling task. The Gadchiroli district of east Maharashtra is known to be a Naxal hotbed.
