The offences charged against Mr. Saibaba are very serious and against the interests of the society, sovereignty and integrity of the country.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Apex court refused Mr. Saibaba's lawyer's plea to let him continue in house arrest considering the fact that he is 90% disabled and wheelchair-bound.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Supreme Court also issued notice on Maharashtra's appeal against the discharge of Saibaba and others for lack of sanction and irregular sanction, respectively.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The next hearing is fixed on December 8.</p>
