A Maoist and a key accused in a legislator's murder, was arrested in Bokaro steel city on Wednesday. According Bokaro SP Saket Kumar, Ramesh Mandal alias Shakin Da, who is one of the accused in the murder of Communist Party of India-Marxist Leninist (CPI-ML) legislator Mahendra Yadav, was arrested from Tilayia village under Lalpania police station, and he had a reward of Rs. two lakh on his head. According to the police sources, the arrested Maoist was staying in the village for the last two years in name of Deepak Soren.It may be recalled that CPI-ML legislator Mahendra Yadava was killed by Maoists in January 2005.
