Maoists have given bandh call today in protest against violation of Women Right in five states including Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. A high alert has been sounded in these states to meet any eventuality. In Bihar, security has been beefed up and patrolling has been intensified in sensitive areas of the state. AIR correspondent reports, over a dozen of trains have been cancelled and long route trains passing through Bihar have been diverted on alternative routes.
