Maoist bandh partially affects normal life in Orissa

In Orissa, the two-day bandh call given by maoists from Tuesday has partially affected normal life in southern districts of the state. <br/><br/>However, there are no reports of any untoward incidents. Government buses from Koraput to Berhampur via Rayagada are plying through neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. <br/><br/>No bus is plying from Jeypore to Bhubaneswar via Rayagada due to the bandh. People have to face difficulties in Malkangiri as both private and government buses have stopped plying.<br/><br/>In Sundergarh district more security personnel have been deployed in the bordering areas of Jharkhand. High alert has been issued in all the 18-maoist hit districts of the state.
