Union Minister of State for Defence, Rao Inderjit Singh has said that many defence products that are being imported will be developed in India in five to ten years. This will make us self-sufficient in defence production.<br/><br/>In an exclusive interview to All India Radio, he said it will take time to develop skilled parts of high-end items and Make-in-India cannot happen overnight.<br/><br/>The Minister also said that the ministry will recognize representatives of foreign countries to increase transparency in acquisition process.<br/><br/>The full text of the interview with the Minister can be heard in our Countrywide programme tonight from 9.30 p.m. on FM Gold channel and additional frequencies.
