Former captain of the Indian cricket team Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi passed away on Thursday evening following a prolonged illness in New Delhi. He was 70 years old. Pataudi was suffering from lung disease and was admitted in ICU at the Gangaram Hospital last week. Pataudi was the youngest captain of the national team in sports history. He played 46 tests in his international carrier and 40 as a captain.He is survived by wife Sharmila Tagore and three children.
