The BJP today criticized the Delhi Chief Minister for being failed in cleaning the Yamuna river in Delhi. Addressing the media Delhi BJP leader and MP Manoj Tiwari alleged that Mr Kejriwal has made only false claims of cleaning the Yamuna. Mr Tiwary said, he along with party MP Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma took stock of the pollution level in Yamuna at Klaindikunj Ghat ahead of Chhat Puja where they found a thick layer of toxic foam on the water. He alleged that to remove the toxic foam, a very toxic chemical was being poured into the river by some people who immediately fled after seeing them. Mr Tiwar said they called the police and lodged a complaint in this regard. The BJP leader accused Mr Kejriwal of making only false promises.  <br />'' <br />''On the other hand, BJP leader Parvesh  Sahib Singh alleged that  Mr Kejriwal visited the Ghazipur landfill site only to cover up the of pollution level in Yamuna. He said, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is doing good work on waste management.
