Manoj Sinha administered oath of office and secrecy as Lt Guv of J&K

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir,  Manoj Sinha was administered the oath of office and secrecy as Lieutenant Governor by Justice Gita Mittal, Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court in the Raj Bhawan lawns in Srinagar today.<br />''<br />''After taking oath, new Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that the administration would soon initiate direct dialogue with the people of Jammu and Kashmir to end the situation of uncertainty and the menace of terrorism.<br />''<br />''The 61-year-old former Union minister Sinha, said that there should be peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.<br />''<br />''The situation of uncertainty should end and terrorism should end. Achieving all this along with accelerated development will be our aim and our mission the Lieutenant Governor said.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Sinha succeeds former IAS officer Girish Chandra Murmu, who resigned on Wednesday night and was appointed Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) on Thursday.</span>
