In Boxing, Manny Pacquiao reclaims the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) welterweight title for the third time. The 37-year-old Filipino pugilist, who had announced his retirement seven months ago, was declared the winner with unanimous decision after he defeated American Jessie Vargas in his comeback fight in Las Vegas. Pacquiao knocked Vargas down in the second round en route to a superb victory. All the three judges gave the bout in Pacquiao's favour – two giving a score of 118-109 and the third 114-113.Vargas had won the WBO version of the 147-pound title in March after beating fellow American Sadam Ali.
