The Lok Sabha committee set up to probe the AAP MP Bhagwant Mann's video episode, feels that the incident has exposed the security system of Parliament. The nine member panel held its second meeting today, where Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Verma and Joint Secretary, Parliament Security, Yogesh Deshmukh were summoned. Sources said during the meeting, Mr. Verma put the blame on Parliament security staff for the lapse. However, the committee members expressed displeasure over the conduct of Delhi Police in the entire matter from recording to uploading the video on social media. The committee, headed by BJP MP Kirit Somaiya, will hold another meeting tomorrow with internal staff members, who were on the duty at that time, when the recording was done. <br/>Yesterday, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan had set up the committee saying the video incident put the Parliament security in peril. She also asked Mr. Mann not to attend the House till a decision on the matter is taken. The committee has given Mr. Mann time till 28th of this month to explain his position. Last week, the MP had recorded a video of Parliament complex and uploaded it on social media. The issue had created uproar in both Houses on Friday.
