Congress on Wednesday demanded clarification from the BJP regarding its candidate for the post of Prime Minister in next general elections.

Briefing reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that BJP appears divided after L K Advani openly withdrew his candidature from the post. He alleged party leaders are busy in internal tussle to propose the next name. Mr. Singhvi added that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will lead the Congress party in next general elections.
