Manmohan Singh wants to resolve important issues, says Gilani

Pakistan's Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said his Indian counterpart Dr Manmohan Singh is a sensible and saner person who really wants to resolve important issues. Speaking high of Indian prime minister's intentions to have good relations with Pakistan, Gilani said, Indian Prime Minister expressed several times during their meeting at Mohali in Chandigarh that he wanted to do something really positive for both the countries. Gilani was speaking in response to a question by a senior civil servant, who quoted private sources that Dr Singh was personally spearheading for developing good relations with Pakistan. Prime Minister Gilani said he had met Dr Singh four times officially – in Colombo in 2008, Sharm El Sheikh 2009, Bhutan 2010 and India 2011, while met unofficially for several times on different occasions.
