US President Barack Obama is looking forward to his talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh where they will discuss ways to strengthen the Indo-US strategic and global partnership. US Ambassador Timothy Roemer told this to reporters in New Delhi today after meeting Home Minister P Chidambaram. The ambassador said, President Obama was keen to renew his very intimate ties and friendship with the Prime Minister during his three-day visit beginning Saturday. Roemer added, Obama's visit would be very important and exciting occasion for both the countries as the two leaders would talk on a host of issues. The ambassador said the President is going to stay perhaps for the longest time in any country during his Presidency so far.
