Manish Malhotra gets BMC notice for allegedly making 'unauthorised alterations' at his office building

After Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished part of actress Kangana Ranaut's Bandra office alleging 'illegal construction,'  fashion designer Manish Malhotra has also received a show-cause notice from the city civic body for allegedly making 'unauthorised alterations at his office building. BMC has sought a reply from him within seven days.<br />'' <br />''The Mumbai civic body has raised issues regarding the construction at Malhotra's property located in Pali Hill area at suburban Bandra in Mumbai. It has objected to shed on the first floor of his management office at the bungalow. Yesterday, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation demolished part of Kangana Ranaut's property in Bandra for alleged unauthorised modifications and extensions.<br />'' <br />''Later in the day, the Bombay high court put stay on the action. Today, while denying any political influence in the matter, the BMC told the high court that it only abided by the rules that the department has got about illegal constructions.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">While, a city-based advocate has filed a complaint against Ranaut for allegedly using foul language against Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in her reaction on social media over demolition of her Mumbai property. Police said that a non-cognisable offence has been registered against Ranaut at Vikhroli police station yesterday.</span><br />
