The Congress said today that there is no difference in the manner in which Social Activists and the BJP exonerate themselves from corruption charges levelled against them.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Sardar Patel Memorial Lecture in New Delhi, Senior Congress leader and Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari wondered why the Social Activists and the BJP are simultaneously playing the roles of the accused and also the judge.
He said, the media should investigate where is the similarity between Social Activists and the BJP is heading for.
He also said, allegations against BJP President Nitin Gadkari is a consequence of internal bickering in the party.
Replying to a question on handling terrorism, Mr. Tewari said the UPA government and the Congress Party has always stood up to the challenges faced time and again, and do not need any advice from any one.
