The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been launched at KVK Utlou of Bishnupur district, Manipur on Saturday. The Manipur Government has decided to conduct the campaign in all 16 districts in a phase wise manner which will culminate on 24th January next year at Jiribam district. The State Education Minister Thounaojam Basantakumar and Manipur's Chief Secretary Vineet Joshi attended the Yatra held today and also led others in joining the interaction program with Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing. Regarding the campaign, the Commissioner of Agriculture Department said that the aim of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is to inform the benefits of different central sponsored schemes to common people. He said that campaign will be organised for three days in every district. Moreover, IEC Vans will also be deployed which will further disseminate the information to interior areas. The participants also took the pledge of 'Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat' during the function.
