Giving a major boost to sports in the state, Manipur government has decided to provide employment to 109 sportspersons, who have won gold medals in National Games and other sporting events. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh. The decision aims at encouraging sporting activities in the state.
