Manipur government has decided to approach the Centre to extend the provisions of the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation 1873 to the state.Official sources in Imphal said, the decision was taken tonight after a detailed discussion in the state Cabinet. The decision follows increasing public demand to introduce the Inner Line Permit (ILP) system under the Regulation.
