Manipur: Three special Shramik trains ferrying around 2500 stranded passengers reach Jiribam railway station

<span style="color: #222222;">Three special Shramik trains ferrying around 2500 stranded Manipuris from different places of the country reached Jiribam railway station of Manipur today. These passengers have been sent to quarantine centres located at different places in Manipur.<br />'' <br />'' A train from Hyderabad carrying 228 passengers and 4 children arrived at Jiribam on Tuesday morning. On the other hand, train from Goa and Mumbai carrying 861 and 1408 passengers respectively reached Jiribam on Tuesday afternoon.<br />'' <br />'' Jiribam railway station is around 200 KM from Imphal and it is lone active railway station of Manipur. All trains carrying stranded people of the State arrived at Jiribam and they are transported to respective quarantine centres by buses.<br />'' <br />'' It is expected that trains from Delhi, Thiruvanthapuram and Gujarat carrying stranded Manipuris will arrived Manipur tomorrow. Meanwhile, 3 COVID-19 positive cases were detected late night yesterday recording the COVID-19 cases in Manipur to 39. Among them, 4 have already been discharged and 35 active cases are getting treatment now.</span><br />'' <br />''
