The Scheme provides financial assistance to pregnant women. Under the scheme, the financial assistance has been increased to Rupees five thousand two hundred and this will be given in two installments. <br />''<br />''He said that Rupees six thousand will be given to a pregnant woman in her second time delivery if the child is a girl. He said that the Social Welfare Department, Manipur has given financial assistance under Matru Vandana Yojana to eighty-five thousand beneficiaries so far.<br />''<br />''As part of the Rashtriya Poshan Maah celebration, a cycle rally was flagged off by the Minister.
