<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, after the announcement of relaxation on lockdown restriction till 3rd May, State Public Works Department has decided to resume construction projects especially national highways and bridge in rural areas which are outside the limits of Municipal Corporations.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' It may be mentioned that a State Cabinet meeting held on 20 of this month had decided to relax lockdown restrictions in some activities including construction of roads and railways project in Manipur.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' State Works Minister, Biswajit Singh held a meeting with the representatives of construction companies and officials of Public Works Department today and decided to resume the construction works. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Minister instructed the representatives to strictly adhere to the protocols and guidelines related to COVID-19 including maintaining social distancing, adequate arrangements for temperature screening of workers, disinfection of work sites and premises etc. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also directed that no workers should be brought in from outside and resume the work with the workers who are already available at the site.</span><br />''
