Manipur: Police instructed to cull information from Kuki militant group over robbery of Rs 1.15 cr in Churachandpur district

Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh  said that the State Police has been instructed to cull information from the Kuki militant groups which are under Suspension of Operation (SoO) and active in Churachandpur district in connection with the robbery of 1.15 crore rupees in the district. The incident happened in the heart of Churachandpur town in broad day light on 4th September. The two unknown motorcyclists also shot dead a staff of Cash Replenishment Agency at SBI Main Branch ATM and fled away with 1.15 crore rupees which was supposed to be loaded in ATMs in and around Churachandpur town.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Addressing a press conference at Chief Minister's Secretariat today, N. Biren Singh said, three suspects have been picked up for questioning in connection with the robbery case and investigation is on. Some crucial leads had been gathered from CCTV cameras. The State DGP had also been instructed to visit Churachandpur to supervise the investigation.</span><br />
