In Manipur police arrested the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the 57 Mountain Division of the Army with illegal drugs worth 15 Crore rupees in international market. The PRO identified as Col. Ajay Choudhury, was intercepted by Manipur Police Commandos near Indo-Myanmar border town of Moreh this morning. Police sources said the drugs were brought from Imphal in 31 well-packaged boxes in three official vehicles of the Army including the official vehicle provided to the PRO. A case has been registered in connection with the incident and further investigations are on.
