<span style="color: #222222;">Manipur State Health and Family Welfare Minister L. Jayantakumar Singh today launched Teleconsultation using eSanjeevaniOPD platform in Imphal. This is the first kind of such platform in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The State government has engaged 30 doctors to perform the newly launched service at initial stage. The government has also been working to target 220 health centres at different locations of the State to cover under the service in near future. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Moreover, the government is also planning to extend the facility of teleconsultation to doctors staying outside the state and abroad as well.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">People of Manipur can register their names to <a href="http://esanjeevaniopd.in/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #1155cc;">esanjeevaniopd.in</span></a> and get the benefit of TeleconsultationOPD from today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking at the occasion as chief guest, Minister Jayantakumar said that health, being one of the most important sectors, the government has been focusing on an improved health care service for the people.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that introducing such a health platform through which people having health difficulties can consult a doctor from home at free of cost, will be very beneficial to the public.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The medical preion slip will also be sent through the internet to the patient after the consultation. A smart phone/a Laptop/Tablet/ computer with internet facility will be required for connecting to a doctor for availing this new facility.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Introduction of such initiative by the BJP led State government at this juncture of COVID-19 pandemic would give a relief to many people who are facing proper healthcare facilities in the State due to lockdown and pandemic.</span><br />''
