In Manipur, the State Health Department has decided to conduct Sero-Survey in four districts to analyze the impact of COVID-19 local spread in the State. The step has been taken up in view of the rise in active cases last month.<br />''<br />''During a media briefing held today at Imphal, Principal Secretary (Health) Vumlunmang Vualnam announced that the Sero-Survey will be started from 30th November in Imphal West, Kakching, Ukhrul and Churachandpur districts of Manipur.<br />''<br />''He said, during the last month, Manipur witnessed 4223 active cases. However, the state government has taken proactive steps and the number of active cases has come down to 3115. He also informed that state government has arranged adequate number of beds for COVID-19 patients and there is no shortage of pulse oximeters<br />''<br />''The state Health Department has decided to collect 4600 samples during the Sero-Survey to be conducted at two hill districts and two valley districts of Manipur from 30th November to 19th December. 1380 samples each from valley districts and 920 samples each from hill districts will be collected to determine the local spread of COVID-19. A sample would be collected from each household of identified locations of these districts.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Twelve medical teams consisting five members in each team have been constituted for the sample collection and test kits approved by ICMR would be used during the testing.</span><br />
