<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, after second patient was confirmed negative of COVID-19 yesterday, State Government is on the road to relax lockdown restrictions on some activities in some parts of the state. So far two cases of Novel Corona Virus have been detected in Manipur and both the patients are confirmed of COVID-19.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that<b> </b>the second and lone COVID-19 patient of Manipur was tested negative of the virus two times consecutively and now Manipur has not a single positive case of Novel Corona virus as on date. He will be discharged from the Regional Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) hospital, Imphal after a few days.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister N. Biren Singh expressed yesterday during the launching of Home Delivery Supplies Management Control Room in Imphal that relaxation of the lockdown restrictions for some selected activities in some parts of the state is being considered.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A State Cabinet meeting is undergoing right now to finalized terms and conditions of relaxations. In spite of zero positive case of COVID-19 in Manipur, State Government has been continuing to take whatever measure to contain the spread of virus and taking up welfare measures for the people during the nation-wide lockdown.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Lockdown is being implemented in true spirit in the Manipur and people are co-operating. On the other hand, State Government has formed two high level committees yesterday for ensuring quality supply of health care equipments related to COVID-19.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Distribution of financial assistance under various schemes has been implementing successfully and second phase of distribution of rice to the people of Manipur is already started.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">So far, State Government has extended one-time financial assistance of 2,000 rupees each to 12,561 persons stranded outside the state to their respective bank accounts. Moreover, distribution of essential commodities items to Manipuris living outside the state including Delhi has already been started. </span><br />
