<span style="color: #222222;">Manipur State government has declared complete curfew in the entire Thoubal district after the number of COVID-19 positive persons who are non-returnees with local contact histories increased in the district. With this, two districts of the State are under complete lockdown as on date.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier, the State government put the Jiribam district of Manipur under complete lockdown till tomorrow after medical authority found evidence of local clustering of cases at the Jiribam Police Station.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Manipur Chief Minister has issued an Order this evening declaring complete lockdown and curfew in the entire Thoubal till 27th of July. The Order said that the step has been taken up after infection of COVID-19 has been detected in some persons of the district who have no recent travel history outside the State.</span><br />'' <b><span style="color: #222222;"> </span></b><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a video message, Deputy Commissioner of Thoubal district N. Bandana said that three persons who worked as volunteers at a Quarantine centre were confirmed of COVID-19 positive some days ago. After that, 25 persons who were in contact with those volunteers were also found positive of COVID-19.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">She also appealed all concerned to follow guidelines and preventive measures issued by the authority to prevent spreading of COVID-19.</span><br />''
