Manipur government issues public health advisory amid rise in temperature

<span style="color: #212529;">In Manipur, the temperature has been rising further day by day thus creating problems for people especially school-going children.       <br />''According to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Imphal, the temperature was recorded 23.6-degree Celsius on the first day of the current month which is recorded at around 33 degree Celsius today in Imphal. ICAR Imphal has been informing the weather report of Manipur for the last many years.<br />'' <br />''Speaking to AIR News, the Nodal Officer of Agro-Meteorology Advisory Services, Imphal, Dr. I Meghachandra said that the mass deforestation in hilly areas of Manipur is the main reason for the rising temperature in Manipur.<br />'' <br />''He said that the temperature has been rising steadily day by day in the State although it is not reeling under extreme heat waves.<br />''</span><br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the State government has issued a public health advisory for the summer season in Manipur. The advisory content do and don't have to be strictly followed by the public while venturing out in the summer season in the State.</span>
