<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, the exchange of bullets between security forces and suspected Kuki militants took place in Imphal West district in which nine persons including two Manipur Police personnel were injured. Meanwhile, incidents of firing bullets towards the valley villages have been reported in different places.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> <br />'' The fresh tension escalated when the two students from Imphal West district went missing on the 5th of this month. Later, the Police recovered the mobile handsets used by two youths from the Senapati district. They are suspected to be kidnapped by unknown persons and Police are investigating the incidents.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The fresh exchanges of fire took place this morning in the Kadangband area under Imphal West today. The Police report said that unknown armed miscreants suspected to be Kuki militants fired indiscriminately from hill ranges towards the valley areas and 9 persons were injured. Among them, one police personnel and a civilian are in critical condition in hospital.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> <br />'' Later, a team of Para Military Forces and Manipur Police conducted the search operation in the hill range and destroyed the bunkers suspected to be used by the militants.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The armed miscreants also fired at the farmers in the Irengbam in Bishnupur district today. The firing from the hill range is reported in the Maphou Dam area in the Imphal East district today. No causality has been reported in the incidents.</span><br />
