Biren Singh has decided to intensity the evacuation process for stranded Manipuris and the train with first batch of 1,200 passengers will leave Bengaluru in next two to three days for Jiribam Railway Station of Manipur.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' After the evacuation of around 90 stranded Manipuris from Assam by road successfully, Manipur State Government has been co-ordinating its counterparts across the country for bringing back stranded Manipuris by trains. State Government has consulted with the government of Karnataka and the first batch of stranded Manipuris will leave Bengaluru by coming Sunday for Jiribam Station.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The State Government has tied up with Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka for bringing back stranded Manipuris in first phase. Delhi Government has been contacted but it will take time considering the situation of COVID-19 there.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' A high level official team of State Government led by Chief Secretary Dr. J. Suresh Babu visited Jiribam today and reviewed the arrangement. A team of State Health Department will be leaving for Jiribam tomorrow for making necessary arrangements for screening test and other necessary health care check-up.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Those stranded Manipuris will be thoroughly screened and put in quarantine centres once they reached Manipur.</span><br />
