He said, during the year 2019-20 the overall immunization achievement was 90 per cent. But, this time even though the immunizations are reduced to some extent, achievement would be between 70 to 90 per cent. Since the pandemic started, awareness on the importance of immunization amongst the parents has increased a lot. In some places, the officials faced difficulty in managing and maintaining social distancing due to huge turnout. <br />''<br />''Appealing to all to immunize their children in time which will help in fighting complicated diseases like Corona virus, Dr. Nandakishore said that during the current year, around 7,000 children have been immunized by June and the target number by the end of December 2020 is 37,000 children.</span><br />
