<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, one police personnel lost his life in the encounter that took place this morning with the suspected Suspension of Operation (SoO) Kuki militants group in Bishnupur district. According to the police report, a team of Manipur police personnel rushed to the Tronglaobi area of Bishnupur district this morning after receiving an intelligence report that suspected armed militants were loitering in the area. The armed group fired on the police team and one police personnel lost their lives while five were injured in the incident.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, the State Education Minister Th. Basantakumar said that the government has been able to retrieve 422 weapons from the protestors to date. It may be mentioned that over a thousand arms were snatched from police personnel by the protestors during the mob violence.<br />''<br />''The Minister said that the police have filed 321 FIRs in connection to the mob violence and thirty persons have been arrested till now. Sixty-eight persons lost lives during the period of mob violence while 236 got injured.
