<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, the combined security forces consisting of Manipur Police and Assam Rifles conducted a cordon and search operation in the Henglep Sub-Division of Churachandpur districts and recovered a huge number of arms and ammunition.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to the police report, the operation was initiated on Saturday after security forces received specific input on the presence of Kuki Independence Army (KIA) cadres in and around Songph village of Henglep Sub Division. This resulted in an encounter last evening and after the operation, security forces recovered huge arms and ammunition including two AK 56 Rifles, three pistols, one ladies' carbine, and four single barrels along with live ammunition rounds.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The operation against KIA cadres is going on till the filing of this report.</span><br />
