Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh took stock of the COVID-19 situation in the State in a meeting of the COVID-19 Task Force held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat today. He instructed the concerned officials to concentrate their energy in tackling COVID-19. The Chief Minister said that he would be available 24×7 for any issue relating to the pandemic.<br />”<b> </b><br />”In a positive development, the daily testing capacity in the past one week has increased to upto 2500 samples per day in the state. The State Government is planning to open COVID Care Centres at Senapati, Kangpokpi, Churachandpur, Ukhrul, Tamenglong, two more centres in Imphal West and one in Thoubal soon apart from the existing COVID Care Centres opened at RIMS, JNIMS, UNACCO School and Bishnupur District Hospital.<br />” <br />”<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, a four-member COVID Admission Committee has been formed with the Health Services Director as the Chairman to ensure that all the affected people are attended to promptly and accommodated at a suitable COVID Hospital or COVID Care Centre.</span><br />
