Biren Singh and others took pledge to take necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the deadly virus in the State in a simple function held at Chief Minister's Secretariat today.<br />'' <br />'' State Governor Dr. Najma Heptulla also joined the campaign and said that the initiative of the Prime Minister of India is encouraging and we all need to support Jan Andolan to make it a success.<br />'' <br />'' The pledge taking was also held at different places in the State including government offices.<br />'' <br />'' AIR Correspondent reports, Manipur Chief Minister pledged to follow the COVID-19 appropriate behaviors and encouraged others to follow the same to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.<br />'' <br />'' In a video message, Chief Minister N. Biren appealed to the people of Manipur to follow the key COVID-19 appropriate behaviors including wearing of face mask, maintaining a minimum distance of 6 feet from others and washing hands frequently.<br />'' <br />'' He also said that people should follow the guidelines issued by the World Health Organisation on protection from COVID-19.<br />'' <br />'' The Governor of Manipur Dr. Najma Heptulla also appealed to follow the three steps to stay protected and stay safe from COVID-19.<br />'' <br />''<br />''In Manipur, the pledge to follow the COVID-19 appropriate behaviours were taken at many places. </span>
