<span style="color: #222222;">Manipur Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh has raised the issue of facing racial slurs and harassment of North East people amidst spread of Coronavirus in different parts of the country. He was taking part in the video-conferencing of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with Chief Ministers today.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister Biren requested the Prime Minister to direct concerned States to stop harassment of people from North East India.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Regarding State's preparedness to face pandemic COVID-19, the Chief Minister said that facilities of 3200 beds are kept ready for quarantine. One dedicated block each in JNIMS and RIMS of 50 beds each is earmarked for COVID-19 patients. He also informed Prime Minister that more ventilators have been installed in both the hospitals.</span><br />
