Biren Singh today launched the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) in the Manipur Legislative Assembly.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The inaugural function was attended by Speaker of the House- Thokchom Satyabrata Singh, Ministers, MLAs, Chief Secretary, DGP, Additional Secretary of Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Mission Leader NeVA Dr. Satya Prakash and other senior officials.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">With the launching of NeVA, Manipur Assembly is becoming a part of Digital Houses and has become the 13th Legislative Assembly to come to the platform and be Digital from end to end.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Terming the launching of NeVA in the Manipur Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister said that the aim of NeVA is to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that NeVA project was launched to facilitate paperless Assembly, become more transparent, accessible, accountable and effective in promoting democracy. Mr. Biren added that now the legislatures have been transformed into Digital Houses and this will be beneficial to the economy and the environment.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The CM also acknowledged and appreciated the Prime Minister, Speaker of the State Assembly, his team and technical teams for the timely implementation of NeVA in the State Assembly which is based on the Prime Minister's concept of One Nation, One Application.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Mock training session on NeVA was also held for the members today.</p>
